I don't think a fade would look very good... If you're that interested in two tone I think it'd look better with sharp boundaries.... I have seen eg hatchbacks with the hood and roof painted black...

just sayin that my experience with car theft was more of a hater job. took a knife to the dash board and broke just about everything they could to steal rims and a gauge cluster. so Idk definately...
