Re: Will fully synthetic engine oil damage my CRV's engine?

Those saying that "once you go syn you can't go back" are full of shit. You can switch back and forth as much as you want it won't degrade anything or cause any issues. However, putting synthetic oil...

Re: 2005 CRV Will not start

Do a compression/leakdown test just to make sure nothing internally is damaged, check over the grounds they can also cause a no-start

Re: Random misfire, running lean, keeps returning.

So you have 2 different problem's and possible one causing the other. P1298 is either a faulty ELD or ECU or any wiring in between, google it it's a common issue. I can almost guarantee if you fix...

Re: need help what to install on d17 for more power im new to this

EM2/ES1's aern't fast, to make them fast the cheapest would be turbo, K20 swap's are a bit more coin but more reliable. Personally if your unhappy with the pick up of a civic I would sell it and buy...

Re: Car does not start 1 out of 10 times runs perfect

Correct gentleman, it is a main relay, it's fairly common on 01-05 civic's. Does it not start on days be after/during rain/snow/frost/dew?

Re: 02 civic ex wasting oil

First of all you shouldn't be using synthetic it's not needed for this car, pour the cheap dino oil in and change the oil every 3000miles. Synthetic can at times clean out seals/gaskets (previously...

Re: 01 civic starting problem, sputters alot.

Blinking is a sign of a misfire, my guess would be spark plugs or fuel injector's if you already changed the coil's.

Re: Just bought a EMII!!!

Don't get cam's or any valvetrain part's just stay OEM and enjoy the reliability. If you want a faster car buy something else or spend the $ on a turbo kit (i recommend the first choice!)

Re: How often are 2001+ Civics stolen?

It's a 2-3000$ car, if the comprehensive is under 200 year then sure why not if not then I wouldn't bother

Re: '03 civic ex won't stay on after timing belt replacement

your timing is out, I wouldn't start the engine again until you check and double check the timing mark's line up. How do you miss something? do you not remember what you removed?
