Re: WTB: OEM shocks w/ OEM springs for EP3
Have the full set off my old 03 EP3 if you're still looking. They were on for no more than 10000 miles and have never been disassembled. Looking for $350 plus shipping. I'll see about taking some...

Re: koni/ground control vs tein basics
Koni/GC for sure! If you're concerned about the ride being too stiff, opt for lower spring rates and don't drop it too much. The Konis on full soft are really cushy on DC's crap roads with 350 front...

WEEEEEE!!!!
There is nothing terribly useful about this post other than to endorse the Koni/GC coilover setup on my EG6.
I've had the koni's set to the middle adjustment since they were installed and finally...

Will a front sway bar eliminate my tire rub issues?

Re: Will a front sway bar eliminate my tire rub issues?
I'm probably just going to raise it up a bit until time to buy new tires. It's not rubbing constantly or anything and not at all in the back. I'm thinking 1/2 inch higher will take care of it.

Re: Will a front sway bar eliminate my tire rub issues?
I'm running 15x7 with a +40 offset. I think I'll probably just deal with it until time to get new tires. Unless of course someone wants to buy my brand new 205's...:scared:

Re: Will a front sway bar eliminate my tire rub issues?
I think you're right. It does seem to be more of a problem when the wheel is turned. It doesn't rub on lock when I'm on a flat surface though. Well, unless it's time to make the doughnuts!:whirly:

Will a front sway bar eliminate my tire rub issues?
First of all, the specs...
1995 EG6 CX with GC/Koni setup lowered to a tight two finger gap and set to middle stiffness, rolling on 205/50-15s.
The rears are not rubbing, but the fronts rub in...

Re: >>>>> KONI SHOCK + GROUND CONTROL COILOVER COMBO <<<<<<
I definitely think 195's would be better to avoid rubbing. I really like the wide contact patch though. I might try rolling the fenders. I'm also thinking the addition of sway bars might help.

Re: >>>>> KONI SHOCK + GROUND CONTROL COILOVER COMBO <<<<<<
It's probably not worth posting pics for, but here it is. I kept the drop rather conservative due to the wide tires and DC potholes. I'm rubbing on the front when close to lock on a down hill and...

Re: Are my tires causing bad gas mileage?
Yeah, I realize this now. My mechanic buddy runs this size on his EG with no problem. Hopefully I won't have any problems either since it's too late to change the order. Do you think I'll need to...

Re: Are my tires causing bad gas mileage?
I'm definitely going to look into other potential causes for the bad mpg. Any suggestions on where to start looking? Thanks for everyone's input though. New tires (205/50-15) were ordered yesterday...

Re: Are my tires causing bad gas mileage?
That's what I was thinking. Thanks for the input. I've done the measurements and 205/50-15 is the widest I can go without messing up the speedo, so I'll definitely be going with that size. They're...

Re: Are my tires causing bad gas mileage?
Thanks! I'm not throwing any codes that I know of. I'll have to check it out. Just replaced a leaking fuel pressure regulator that was severely reducing my mpg. I was hoping that would be the end of...

Re: ► The Official Exhaust Thread (Questions, comments, etc.)
I had the Neuspeed Cat-back on my 03 EP3 and loved it! Had a great, non-obnoxious tone, seemed to make good power, and I never got hassled because it looked stock with the twin outlets.

Are my tires causing bad gas mileage?
This may seem obvious to some or most of you, but I'm just wondering if my tires could be the cause of the 23 mpg I'm getting right now? A while back I totaled my EP3 with 205/55-15's so I just...
