Came across this post by Car Throttle today. Thought it was cool and worth sharing. The new CTR hits 168mph on the Nurburgring and sets a faster lap time than 8 RWD "Supercars."

Did the same person tune it each time? Sounds like the new map setup for E85. Why run E85 though? That setup should be fine on pump. And from what I've been told (could be wrong, haven't looked into...

My car has been sitting for about 2 years now, as I was away for college. I asked my Step Dad to start the car up and take it for a spin once a week, which he never did. But I'm back from school now...

I didn't mean it to sound like that. My bad. haha. But with "supporting mods" 8psi should be fine. Look into head studs, head gasket, adjustable cam gears to retard the timing..
And watch for knock.

Like you said, it's all in the tune. People say it's "better" to boost a low compression car, but in reality, a higher compression boosted car will make more power then a low compression boosted car....

Check your resistances in your plug wires. And check your resistance in your coil windings. My guess is that it's an ignition timing problem. Also check your cap and rotor to see if there is dirty...

I'm agreeing with everyone on the filter. That would definately make it sputter and die. And the idle problem could possibly be your IAC. But I wouldn't imagine your tach going up to redline. Or...
