Clean title, rebuilt title all ok with me provided the badge isn't missing. I'm also not interested in spending top $$$ for a garage queen that I tremble when I think of driving. Also open to restoration projects (i.e., shells or full cars that need some TLC).

Clean title, all matching VINs on body as well as the drivetrain. One reported accident on the rear bumper for $460 back in 2000 when the car was less than a week old. There is some paintwork, but it was done well back in the day and I just had the front bumper refinished. I am third owner. It is an Ontario car since day one, it may have seen some salt left on the roads during springtime under the first owner but the quarters have NO rust. I pulled the bolts out of the seats front and rear and there was no corrosion on the threads. There is a dent on the edge of the hood near the cowl that is correctible. Body is about and 8/10, people have called the car mint but I am picky. The car I have been told has never been tracked.

It has a new clutch, throwout bearing, new flywheel bolts, brakes were rebuilt and zinc plated with oem seals, new pad springs, rotors, pads, clutch master cylinder, brake master cylinder, slave cylinder, plugs, wires, rad hoses, timing belt was done by the previous owner as well the water pump. I used all genuine Honda OEM parts. Mods are CT intake, samco hose, JDM 4-1, 2.5" cat, fujistsubo RM01, gc/konis with extended top hats, 16x7.5" +26 Work RSZ-Rs on 205/45/16 Dunlop DZ102, JDM red stitch boot and a spoon shift ****. The PS has been looped (I have the oil cooler lines and pump), the previous owner had coilovers and bolt ons that I replaced. There are no holes drilled in the car other than a siren on the shock tower, the only touched wiring I see is at the column for the alarm. No hacking for a stereo either. It has black JDM recaros in it now, but I have black USDM/CDM seats too.

Carproof and UVIP will only be provided to anyone seriously interested. I'm in Toronto.

Hey guys, I'm going to be as honest and up front about everything as I can be. It's hard for me to let go of the car and would prefer it to go to someone who will appreciate it. But don't we all. haha. I have owned this car for about 7 years I believe. It was my daily driver up the entire time I owned it, up until about 2 years ago. I am posting it for sale because it literally just sits in my garage and I never drive it. I have 4 vehicles and decided it's time to sell a few. Unfortunately, this is one I drive the least and will bring in the most money. :( It's just not practical for me at this point in my life.
Okay, about the car


I don't remember when exactly but the vehicle was stolen back in '02 ish if I recall. I pulled the carfax when I bought the vehicle but that was years ago. The engine and seats were stolen. The vehicle had no history of being in an accident. two weeks after I bought the vehicle, a lady in a jeep backed into me. The hood, right head light and bumper were replaced. Along with the core support. I can't recall if anything else was but I think that's it. When I bought the vehicle the rear quarter panels were a slight different shade of white then the rest of the vehicle, which is why I pulled the carfax. Still to this day, I don't know why. I would assume the car was resprayed for some reason but I am unsure on the reasoning. The paint is still mismatched. Most people say they never noticed....but being the owner, it bothers me. haha.
There is a nice scuff on the right front portion of lip. I rolled the rear fenders slightly to clear the tires. There is a small dent on the right rear quarter panel up top by the rear hatch glass from me bounce testing the vehicle to see if the tires were going to rub. Apparently I'm fatter than I thought I was. haha. Ever since I was backed into, the hood has to be slammed shut...or, I just drop it from up higher. (I was young, 18, when it happened. If I knew any better, I would have gone back to the body shop and made them fix it.) The engine is a gsr b18c1 with what I was told had JDM ITR internals. I never verified the pistons but I know it has the JDM ITR camshafts. Has a usdm ITR tranny. This what the vehicle came with, I have no idea when the egnine was installed or how many miles are on it. I can tell you that it burns some oil. The tranny shifts smooth throughout the rpm band. I replaced the clutch about 15k miles ago with a competition clutch stage 3 2600 disc kit and competition clutch lightweight flywheel. I had some Buddy Club Racing spec coilovers on the vehicle and two of the struts were leaking and seized so I ordered some Buddy Club N+ Coilovers about 8k miles ago. At the same time I bought some Bridgestone RE11 and then shortly after, I bought an evo and parked the vehicle. I forgot to take pictures of the engine bay but I will within a few days here and post them up. The engine is 100% factory/stock. I have replaced numerous starters and distributors since I've owned the vehicle. The starter currently on the vehicle will I would say 1 out of 5 times will stay engaged too long and you will hear it wind when starting. I blame it on being a crappy O-Reilly's starter. The drivers door latch is beginning to fail. When you unlock the car, sometimes the latch will make a noise as it is trying to unlock the vehicle. I have never had it fail on me completely, but I recommend replacing it. That's only with the auto unlock from the remote. The windshield wiper only works on the first two settings. Needs a new wiper switch. Never bothered me enough to replace it. Missing the carbon fiber bezel around the right vent on the dash. I am unaware to this day if my year came with carbon fiber bezels around switches on the doors but if it did, it's missing those too. Has checkered ITR floor matts but they have seen better days. The vehicle came without a floor board in the trunk so I made one....it isn't perfect but it works. That is everything I can think of off the top of my head. I apologize if I happen to have forgot something or missed something and for the car being dirty in some pictures. But like I said, the car has been sitting for the past two years in my garage and gets driven once every three months it seems like. However, I did drive it to work today to make sure it's running well. It is. I would like to note that I have performed all the maintenance on the vehicle and have done every upgrade myself, minus the engine swap, exhaust and intake. I've been a mechanic for years so i don't have any receipts and never planned on selling the car. If you guys want to ask me anything, feel free. Selling my 97' that I rebuilt over the last couple of years. Something that I always wanted to have, but in the end, I never drive.

Specs are it's pretty much stock, besides the 96' Spec motor, and 36mm 5-lug from Dallas JDM.

Long story short, it is a salvage title because of being abandoned at IAAI by the owner, even though insurance denied that claim. And If I remember correctly the shell has around 140k miles on it. But I've only driven it 200 miles or so in the year that it's been done.

Below are a couple pictures. And only rust is where you will see a plug in the roof from a Motorola car phone that was installed by the dealer it looked like, but it is very minimal/ small radius on surface. And no, I don't have a 97' bumper for it, but I have the headlights and turn signals for the 97' front.

2000 PY with 149K MILES, or 240K KM. Not a rebuilt or theft recovery. Newly rebuilt engine. Mechanically very good and will not need much for a very long time.
