electrical problem, the cable reel has an electical cable in it and sometime they get worn out or chaffed from the turning of the steering wheel or improper install..

Ya I had the same code and it was my srs cable reel behind the steering wheel, make sure you eliminate the airbags because if someone swapped out the airbags youll never get it to reset, make sure...

it will just make sure u get the check eng light reset, there are a few other things to check like for vac leaks and other emissions parts like VALVE, CANISTER VENT SHUT and VALVE (THREE-WAY)..these...

Well, I hope this thread helps out with srs lights, I figured my problem out it is the cable reel assembly. I have the srs light on when I turn the wheel to the left everytime interminting issue...

most likely a bad syncro but check the fluid make sure it is normal temp, on level ground and check the fluid by removing the fill bolt on the tranny, what tranny do u have and how many miles? good...

Ok soo crusing today and stopped by burger king and the light came back...so I reset the srs unit and it cleared again, I then read the code and it is given me a 01 long flash and thats it anyone...

ya man 30mpg isnt bad I get about 310-320 miles out of a 10.5 gallon on a 1999 gsr with mods and I fill up on 93 octane...mobil brand gas...

why does everyone jump to the big things first, start small like fuel pressure and spark the check cap and rotor, then check fuel filter..then you can rule out other compression and all the other...

I have the same issue on my mine was a syncro but check the fluid res too, what year is the car tranny?
try to bleed the clutch fluid completely..

ok it is a possibility u have a clitch in the ecu or the chip I would try to replace the chip and run it with a stock p72 chip or try a different ecu?
