yeah that is pretty much all you need to do. i dont think you have to swap the oil pump though(correct me if im wrong).

right, my bad....i was thinking i was on another EP3 specific forum.

i believe there are companies that make conversions. you could also use the EP3 idler pulley/tensioner

well oddly enough, i ran my car to operating temp and parked it. then i proceded to reset the ecu and the light has not come back on and the idles perfectly and runs a good as ever. i think it was...

i just didnt think mechanical timing could cause a problem like this. cause it ran fine when i drove it. just when i came to a stop it would try to die. it starts up and idles fine when i first start...

they didnt fix the problem? i was told that it could also be the crank sensor as well.

so i just got this code yesterday. i know people say it could be many types of things, but i dont think my car has skipped timing at all because the car started and ran just fine and idled upon...

the manual rack have different "gearing" to them too dont they? cause i found it more difficult to turn my plugged PS rack than my dedicated manual rack.

we have the same IM as the type-s i believe, def not a plastic IM.

the V2 might fit, i think it does.
