Take A Drill And Drill Right threw the screws. Then die the Hubs, buy new screws from Wal mart or local hardware store and screw back on.

there is multiple ways that you can remove those screws. drilling them out is the hardest way, IMO, you could use a chisel and chisel it in a circular pattern to spin the screw free. also hit the screw with a punch to shock it free, it usually helps alot.

Those two aluminum screws holding the rotors on are very soft aluminum. You have to get it right the first time or they are done. Honda's have had the same soft aluminum screws on rotors for at least 25 years. I remember them from the mid 80's. You'd think they'd put a better quality screw in there already but who know's why manufacturers make some of the choices that they make. I think they want the DIY shade tree mechanic to fail so that you bring it to the stealership.

Use an impact driver, 15 bucks at sears....
I'm pretty sure they put them on there so they do not fall off the car during assembly. Most manufacturers do that to some extent. Also does keep the guy that doesn't have the right tools for the job away, Volkwagen is the master of that.

there are two ways to get them out very easily in my time with honda i have NEVER had to drill one off or cut one off.
first way you take two hammers one large 3 pound sledge and one smalle ballpeen, put the ballpeen end on the head of the screw and smack it a few times with the sledge you should then be able to take the screw out with just a pocket screwdriver
second way is the method i use which entails an air hammer and an adapter to put a impact driver # 3 or #2 phillips on it. that is self explanitory how this works but there has not been one i can not get off be it from a 200k pilot or from a 20 year old accord.
Tools are your friend...work smart not hard
using an impact screwdriver is one of the worst ways IMO because when you end up turning the screw when you are hitting it you run the risk snapping the bit off in it and making it worse.
as for your issue now after you have already fubard' up the screws use the small chisel method as mentioned earlier in this thread

To the OP: Go to sears, buy an impact driver, and in less than 5 minutes they will be off.

I know how an impact driver works i know how an air hammer works i'm sorry but don't take offense to something when you are wrong and there is a better method out there. Typical forum guy you are i know better than you let me tell you you're doing it wrong. kthnxbi

hmm, let me see, putting a hammer on the screw, hitting it with ANOTHER ball peen hammer, isn't that what an impact driver does?, only it doesn't damage the screw? Seems pretty crude, and imprecise to say the least.
And lets see again, buy an air compressor, air hammer, hose, and a special bit on the end of it JUST to do the same thing a $15 impact driver at sears will do? What?!
I used to work in Minnesota, and I could care less about your "10" years experience, I've met a LOT of clueless career techs, it doesn't surprise me I run across another arrogant one that cant spell on here.

look here you big bag of dicks i'm not an arrogant ***** you are coming across that way, i'm giving OPTIONS on the STUBBORN rotor screws i don't care if you think i'm good at what i do or not i have nothing to prove to you i let my work and my CSI comback ratio and fixed right first time being a team leader scores speak for themselves. Take what i say in context and not an insult.
And i'll say this agian in a different manner, there is NO WAY you have NEVER broken a impact driver bit on a stubborn rotor screw. i'd say about 70% of these DIYers here on forums have at least a small air compressor for some reason around the house so its not exactly a stretch to offer that piece of advice.
Although i'm sure all you want to hear is your right i'm wrong. EVERYONE can learn a thing or two your advice is not be all end all which is what i assume you think it is anyways i'm pretty much done with this.
Your going to take whatever i say wrong so theres no point in continuing but i assure you i'm not clueless nor am i arrogant.

Re: (((2006 Civic Hub rememoval?)))
I always use the air hammer and the snap on impact driver attachment and it works every time.. I've seen guys strip the heads off the screw using a regular hand impact driver. and my air hammer attachment one removes it all the time even when its slight stripped from the guys using the hand impact driver...
