Icon2 EG hatch - Trunk board measurements?

Hi HT
My EG43 hatch is missing the trunk floor board. I'm thinking of cutting one out of mdf or plywood or something similar. Does anyone have the measurements for this - A picture maybe?

Have...

Re: Fuel line leak - Line replacement suggestion?

Took her to a different mechanic. He cleaned the pipes around the leak and pointed out the spot. It was the return line only. He put hose around the leak for now and it seems to have stopped and gas...

Re: Fuel line leak - Line replacement suggestion?

Before I go bend pipes: How about used pipes from a junk yard - That a bad idea or?

Edit:
I forget to give credit when boggled with repairs beyond regular maintenance, apologies. Thanks again...

Re: Fuel line leak - Line replacement suggestion?

Okay, no soft copper for the pressurized line. I take it copper is fine for the thinner return and breather lines?

The problem is the single pressurized fuel feed pipe is in back order and it's...

Re: Fuel line leak - Line replacement suggestion?

I think they all need replacement, all three look corroded from end to end, especially where the clips hold them down.

I'm worried whether the pressurized feed line can be replaced by bendable...

Fuel line leak - Line replacement suggestion?

Hi good people of HT :)

My Civic has leaky fuel lines under the car (17, 18, 21 parallel with the exhaust pipe, see pic). They are leaking at the center, under the car, DOH, so I guess they've got...

Re: EG43 - D15B2 DPFI Injectors. Should I buy new?

D15B2 is so-so common here in Denmark - I donno, I think I see more ILS/ESI/VTI than LSI here. I'll look into it though, thanks Alex :-)
Do you have a link to a Swedish scrap yard database by chance?

Icon2 EG43 - D15B2 DPFI Injectors. Should I buy new?

Hi guys :-)
Ultrasound cleaning of injectors is around 200$ where I live (Europe), total ripoff. I wonder if it wouldn't simply be cheaper to buy a new set for the ol' DPFI instead of getting a used...

Re: HDS? for 95 del sol

Nothing seems wrong with it so far - It looks interesting :-)

As far as I can tell Tunerview is a different approach than the VAG thing. It seems more geared towards the hardwired visual gadget...

Ah, Marc :-)
You know the guy simply wants to know if it's possible to get a view of the ecu through a software that interprets the absolute values from the ECU for him - Basically allowing him to...

Re: Del Sol window problem?

'Honda Shin Etsu' for the seal works wonders.

A quick Google for 'Honda recommended lubricant list' will net you another site with a fine list including part numbers - G'luck :-)

Re: del sol roof wings?

Looks ok on the black Del Sol posted above albeit I think the lack of tail wing looks disturbing. I'd hate to have a roof wing on my red Del Sol VTI with trans top - Craaaack, hehe. G'luck on your...

Icon2 EG43 D15B2 (DPFI) - Coolant bleeding procedure?

Hi folks,
I have a 94' Civic with a DPFI D15B2 (European). The idle is surging (correct term?) 50-300 rpm above the desired idle when warm. I suspect the EACV needs cleaning, okay. How do I go about...

They're dirt cheap from Honda, no? If you've narrowed it down to the bugger, then replace it :-)

Re: Convert EG CX to Power Steering or Not?

Let me rephrase the 'roads' part. It's the 'Injured and killed in traffic' part that really is bad in the USA.

Re: Convert EG CX to Power Steering or Not?

We've covered the safety part or at least some of us have. Read the thread. Or don't. I don't really care anymore. I'd scrap or sell the car though, and get one with PS.

Re: Convert EG CX to Power Steering or Not?

I've watched over quite a few in respirators after accidents. I've seen it more times than I think anyone should. I don't take lightly to safety equipment or equipment that makes it safer to drive.

Re: Convert EG CX to Power Steering or Not?

Slower turning => slower reaction => more accidents. Stop pretending it's equally safe. If it was equally safe modern cars wouldn't have this, no?
It is not universally true for all cars that say 5...
