rule of thumb is if it pops out it never went all the way in, its more then likely a worn shifter fork

I would only use Honda gasket and Hondabond. ive used other gaskets and sealers and they all leak after a while

look for a shop that can timesert it . that is a Honda approved repair. I would never trust helicoil on a block. Honda dealerships have the kits. ive done a few myself

just did it Friday , very simple just install with spacer and good to go, def need to upgrade to steel breaded line cause the fitting is on the left side instead of the top like stock

do you have a radio in the car? im asking because if the memory on the radio is the same memory for the ecu. the only other thing on that circuit is the heater control. I ran into the same problem...

because a misfire sends unburned fuel into the cat which is hot enough to ignite the fuel and causes the cat to super heat. there is a very slim chance a misfire will cause engine damage.

A misfire will not always set a light . it only sets if its bad enough to damage the cat. rule of thumb if wires and plugs look good is to check the valve adjustment. also check the ground wires on...

i would flush it out and be done with it if it was me, but you can take a chisel and hit it from the side to try to turn the screw.
