Re: SALE ONLY ::.. NO TRIAL USERS, NO COMMENTS, PICS REQURED (as links) -APR- JUN 201

I have parts left over from my cylinder head rebuild. These parts are for the H23 non-VTEC series motors. All parts are brand new, still sealed in the OEM Honda parts bags.

Re: Crank Pulley Problem.

I would quote Blake too but he basically said the same thing. I've always thought that a little bit of a wobble at idle was pretty normal for some of these Honda motors, even a few of my friends...

Re: Crank Pulley Problem.

Is it actually loose though? They all "wobble" while the car sits at idle.

Re: Help for 92' Honda Prelude Cylinder Head Rebuild

It just doesn't spark at all? Have you tried testing it with the screwdriver method?

Re: Crank Pulley Problem.

Does it actually come loose or does it just look like it's wobbling while the car idles?

Re: Crankshaft pulley help please

195 for an OEM crankshaft pulley? Try finding a used, low mileage piece on eBay or a forum.

Re: Crankshaft pulley help please

This. That little tiny fragile piece of metal basically holds your whole motor together. If it breaks....break out the wallet.

Re: H22 turns over but won't run

Yep sounds like you got some bent valves there. For the price of OEM valves, springs, guides, retainers, seals, keepers, etc, you're better off just finding a used H22 head and swapping them out. ...

Re: Crankshaft pulley help please

I would avoid a lightweight pulley. The crankshaft pulley isn't just a pulley, it's a harmonic balancer. It helps balance the motor, ensure smooth operation, etc etc. When you run lightweight...

Re: H22 turns over but won't run

Did you do the compression test after you replaced the tensioner and timed the motor? Also, make absolutely sure your plug wires are on in the correct order.

Re: Crankshaft pulley help please

Any of the F/H series crank pulleys will work (barring the F20C/F22C obviously). The pulley separating is a fairly common thing on high mileage motors, yes.

The bolt is not reverse threaded,...

Re: Press on/Trapped rotors?

I'm confused about what you're asking. It's pretty simple to replace these rotors. Remove wheel, remove caliper and caliper bracket, remove brake rotor. There may or may not be screws holding the...

Re: location of EGR valve and cleaning

The EGR valve is located on the left side of the intake manifold (if you're standing at the front of the car). It's just to the left of your fuel injectors. It's held on with 2 bolts, either 12 or...

Re: starting problems

Why don't you do a compression test to determine whether or not you're actually getting compression. Might as well check for fuel at the rail and spark while you're at it. The more we know, the...

Re: 98 Prelude ABS light is on and yet the codes will not show up

Make sure you're turning the key to the ON position, not ACC. If you're sure you're doing that and it's still just a solid light...I'd say it's an intermittent problem and you're going to have a...

Re: ABS codes pulled

Why is there so much wrong with your ABS system? Check all your ABS related fuses and relays to make sure they're all good, before you go replacing a bunch of expensive stuff.

Re: Prelude Tranny Swap....What Axles?

I'm not sure, I'd imagine you'd use the axles for the non-SH F22/F23/H23/H22 transmissions...once you find out for sure, let me know, I've got a set for sale if you need them.
