to get zero penetration like that without purging would be mean the weld is wayyy shallow. if it was back purged poorly to get the color on the inside, the one penetrated weld isn't candied so that...

Don't use an Auto lense if you're not gonna dump 4-500 into it. I only use my elite for cages.


I use alcohol to clean parts, takes longer to dissipate than brake clean but it won't ruin your...

13B is like a 2.6L thats burning half the charge in the header. way more exhaust volume to worry about. Two 2.25id pipes is about right.

Yep.

CX racing welds fine, its just collapsed a bit more than the others, also it gets weird flat spots somehow.

anyone with Rathgibson as their supplier would be best, just dollar dollar bill...

We have our own cut file, gonna cut the ports round 1.25 nominal ID, then I'll toss the gasket on and gasket match it to the ports, dudes using an EFR 6258 on a T25 Flange, 1.5 runners are way over...

Cool, gonna get started on an FE Miata manifold here pretty soon too.

Prolly gonna package it as a bottom mount 1.25 manifold with a EFR 6258. Stupid miata frame rail makes manifolds a bummer.

I was gonna step 1.625 to 1.750 on mine, RX7s use 2in SCH tubing and I've used a pair once to connect a twin scroll flange to two 1.5 sch runners.

You have a medium lense and a large body nozzle.

get the large lense and the insulator for it and you'll be set.

D/A finish aluminum is pretty common.

AFI/Toxic/Full Race all use or have used D/A to finish aluminum.

most people are getting away from it now though, on tubing i bet they're using the same...
