It seems like there is a lot of rx-7 fd manifolds being made from 2.0" 0.120 ss304. I can't recall many others though. Of course, these same people are running 3/4" header flanges as well. So overkill may be just part of their language.

13B is like a 2.6L thats burning half the charge in the header. way more exhaust volume to worry about. Two 2.25id pipes is about right.
3/4 flange is because there are four bolts to keep basically a 6in x 10in flange flat at around 2000 degrees.

for those who dont follow my build thread heres finished setup. bit further along now but no pics polished the manifold kinda,braced the turbo,and oil filter does come off.
