That is good to know.. so, for now, when I get the OBDI ECU (p28), I can run that with the stock manifold and sensors, just until I source a z6 IM and TB?

yeah.. that is what I was thinking.. increase the FP with a regulator, and retard the timing a bit.. I just need a DD fairly soon for work, but I dont want to have to take the whole motor apart again...

+1 on that.. but dont just get an alarm.. One of the best things you can do to stop your car from getting jacked is put a clutch lock on it.. one of the good ones.. they will basically have to tow...

ok.. so, I have a set of pm7 pistons, used, that I am thinking about dropping into my z6, thats going in my ef.. the problem is, after the ECU and all that, I will not have the money to have the ECU...

damn.. i just dont have the dough to get it tuned, and none of the machine shops out here can be trusted, and the companies that do work on imports dont really have too good of a rep out here..

i also just realized that i may not be able to use those pistons anyway, because of the fact that the rings were screwed up, and possibly broken, in the ZC.. if the rings arent broken, is it still ok...

what about the clutch? can I just use the clutch/flywheel/pressure plate from an 89 integra? or should I get one for a civic (considering the bottom end/tranny are pretty much civic anyway)?

ah.. ok.. i was looking at the specs last night, and i noticed that the ZC runs a little bit higher compression and is bolt in ( I already have a d16a1 ecu)..

you may be better off swapping something else in there temporarily until you have the scratch to rebuild it.. if it smokes and burns oil, you probably have bad valve seals or burned/broken piston...
