This is a very very sad car. It's making me sad and stress. I payed 500 for it based on what I thought was a clean body. The engine and auto trans, everything was still intact. The kid who owned it...

You got the right idea there! Use the same ecu. If you're currently using obd2 then use that same ecu and wire harness. When you plug everything up, just be sure that all plugs, plug right up.

Or some concrete blocks will work as stands. Don't leave your wheels on the car with no lugnuts! You will have to replace studs as we as lugnuts.

Sounds like the hydraulics. Could be master or slave. Have you bled the clutch?

Itr cluster will not compliment the cams. However you didn't mention the most important compliment to the cams... Get some adjustable cam gears.
