Gsr question
I have a full civic gsr swapped car and I'm looking to drive 14 hours to visit my girlfriend every once in a while. Is it safe bringing this car idling at 4 grand on the way there at about 80mph?

naa, you'll be fine. I drove mine to VA from pa/ny.... 9 hour trip any mine was all good. I even overheated mine ALOT cause I had a coolant leak that I could NOT find and it was 100* + the whole way...

Re: Gsr question
A maintained motor shouldn't have a problem. If it's been a while since your last oil change you might wanna do it beforehand, or at the very least make sure your oil level is fine.

Check and change any fluids before hand. Bring some oil and honda coolant with you just in case. These motors are very strong. It will be very happy cruising at 80mph.

Re: Gsr question
If u have a stock dash cluster of the lowest model in your civic, danger zone isn't till 7k rpm at least. Sure, you'll be just fine.
