did that & no luck. I send the BIN file to 2k.civic.si He will try to figure out a way to open it, if it is possible. He has a lot of experience dealing with crome. He probably has a trick or two...

I have a 98 spec ITR tranny, my 2nd & 3rd counter shaft gears are worn out. I have called lots of Acura dealers and they tell me that the 3rd gear is nationaly back order with out date of release....

I finally got it fixed. The problem was the main bearings, synchro of the fisrt and also a diferential bearing. The main bearing were really bad with a lot of play. The dif. bearing was not that bad,...

I have a 98 spec type R motor & tranny on my 97 civic hatch. The tranny has an ACT heavy duty pressure plate, solid 6 pucks clutch & Fidanza flywheel. It's been running for over 1 year now.
