What was said above me is technically true, but the stock gsr cam`s vtec lobes should not be engaged without any oil pressure. If that were the case you would constantly be in vtec throughout the RPM...

The valve just doesnt look seated right to me, IMO even if the valve lash was offit shouldn't look like that. Do you have the cam bolted to the head right now? If so rotate it enough to check the...

@NotARacist apparently the wires weren't making contact as well as i wanted its fine and the CEL is off. I do plan on getting the right head back on there asap i don't want to miss out on the Vtec-e...

Its a non vtec head i didnt get the actual number yet i know its supposed to have a D16y8 but i think its a D16y7 head on it all i know is i still have the EGR valve without a Vtec solenoid the two...

Ok so no continuity with ground 12v at yel/blu middle wire and 4.78v at yel/wht wire opposite ground wire so def bed ground just not sure with the 5v wire

On a side note lol my rf brake caliper caught fire on my way to work and had my rotor glowing red lol 100 bucks later and i have a new caliper rotor and pads lol

I did that the plug itself looks totally fine i dont see any corrosion what so ever but what i did notice was some water that pooled into all of the wire terminals on the top of the plug itself

So im throwing a VSS code 17 now i was just driving it around to check it and the speedo was really jumpy sometimes it would be steady and smooth and others while going over bumps it would be jumpy...

So theoretically i could just cut the wires at the ecu connector and ground it out and it should theoretically work after right? And lol i aint no master tech yet brother i can definitely say you are...
