Re: VTEC Intake cam on exhaust side

currently this head has a k24z3 intake cam, k20z3 exhaust cam, k24z3 cam holders, k20z3 rocker assembly,...

VTEC Intake cam on exhaust side

Can this work? By installing an exhaust cam gear onto an intake camshaft and running that cam on the exhaust side. RBC head, vtec both intake and exhaust.

Basically I have a complete RBC head...

Re: How To: Quick/Easy Civic/Integra Trailing arm bushing replacement (also ES Poly V

I did this job on a good shape eg in 2010. Easy job. Never thought much about it.

now I’m doing it in 2024 on a rusty eg. The easy job has become rear ended restoration. Most bolts don’t come...

Re: *PICS* *Need advice* Rear trailing arm broken

Currently dealing with the same problem. Trailing arm bolts are breaking out, destroying the frame. It’s 2 layers of sheet metal in there. All in all this area is an absolute pita. Everything is...

Factory B20 integra

Anyone ever noticed integras which came with a b20?

I recently pulled a swap from a 2000 integra thinking I got a b18 with auto trans. I wash the engine and see it’s a b20b. I’m like wow that...

Re: Safe Rev Limiter on a H22A

I had a H23A in my car for a few years. 95mm crank with a B16 transmission. Balance shafts in block, belt off. 9lb flywheel. Stock Honda engine.

gradually I got more confident with rpm limit and...

B series LS build

I’m looking at picking up a B18B LS transmission cause it’s all that’s available around here. I’d like to convert it to B18C1 GSR gearing. Or maybe custom gearing. With a 4.4 or 4.7 or 4.9 final...

Re: the only FRM cylinder honing option = buy new sleeves

yeah, it seems like an frm block that hasnt been damaged doesnt need to be honed. The pistons and rings will wear out long before the cylinders. Although it does present a challenge for a custom...

Re: EG9 tachometer is not rotating smoothly

Ive had problems with the eg tachs themselves. The solder points on the back can break and fixing them permanently can be hard. A new tach in this case....

Re: D15B7 Burning Oil: Ideas?

I understand the class thing. But a D is not the greatest track engine. These were hardly ok in the day. They hardly hold up on the road. Blown head gaskets, over heating, oil burning. Tons of...

Re: Welder question for guys that have done their own exhaust

Ive had this same welder for years. This little welder is great and can do alot for its size. For exhaust its perfect, B heat and about 2 feed wire speed works good. Mild steel sucks never use...

Re: Alignment Problems Persist After Replacing Almost All Alignment Parts

The front wheels need to be in line with the rear wheels. Ive found you can be either dead even or one turn of one tie rod toed in. These are the only two settings which will work and not burn the...

Re: Removing AC and PS

A proper manual rack is the best idea if no PS is a must. Looping the lines on a hydraulic rack makes the steering real heavy. At least at slow speed but even at high speed it kinda sucks. As for...

Re: Considering H2B - would like confirmation of build details

This setup can work as well as any setup. There are parts available to tackle every aspect of the build. This is not a cheap or budget build. Many expensive parts are required to do it right, this is...

Re: Suggestions on what the purpose of this engine should be

Re: Honda Civic EG6 93 SI Shell

The cars seem to be worth hardly anything. A fully built $25,000 machine hardly fetches $5000 around here. And thats Canadian.

Re: My H22a4 N/A Build List

I think you'd be doing well on the build at 235hp

to get to 280hp you would need much more displacement or very high compression and race fuel.

I dont see why going with cp pistons would make...
