he has an LSvtec.
I can look at the car so its a pain to diagnose over the phone.
I think he said a stock ecu was working fine.

nope, no buckin at all. haveing a hard time timing it too w/o a egt. obd2 setup with obd1 dissy. i set timing via vac, but its not feeling right.

I have the h23v done, runs great. set the TPS because of a code.

with engine off, i have a solid ground, 5v, and .45 signal, 4.49v...

thc07 has a horrible story with the refs. he did a legal h22a4 in his ej civic.
had all the sensors, purge, egr, blah blah...

Ok, yea, on a stock motor sure. "move too fast", your thinking of a narrow band, like stock. its only fast because it has only one volt to work with. When you have your wideband you can def see whats...

you dont need a light show on your dash. its not accurate or even close. 1 volt dude!
go get a lc-1 or something and ditch the light show. its only gonna make you look......

no! Hondata has really good editors, im not gonna say they dont.
and yea, you cant compare Crome to hondata. but in some ways you can.
many times you only need the basic, which Crome will cover.

well, no crank code with a obd2 p13, but i do get a crank code with a obd2 p72.

Id go with the obd1 conversion, but how would i time it? I have an after market flywheel.

got a new sensor for the hell of it, no check engine light now. but now it lopes, from 100 rpm to about 1000 rpm. like its out of time.

Its not a blue top. its a h22a4 head on a h23a1 block.
everything that touches the timing belt was swaped h22.
even the oil pump to retain the spots to screw in the sensors

I agree! that will be a great start. s2s2 are nice. Ive seen some depressing results with Crower s2 cams.

speaking og which, NirVtec... I know you have the h23v in...
