Using 9006 bulbs as 9005

Sup guys,

I have extra 9006 bulbs, but none of my cars can use it anymore. So I have this car with 9005 Hi/DRL. I would like to recycle my 9006 to 9005.

Is this possible?

Thanks!

Re: best value in stock replacement shocks?

Personally, if you are on stock springs, bring them to a shop to get them changed. They are under high pressure and it's really hard to use the small spring compressor. You need a shop with the...

Re: Starting Issue

I would first check to see if the starter cable (from battery to starter) is in good shape. Measure the resistance. Next, I would check the starter signal, the wire that connects to the solenoid. If...

Re: $170 denso starter vs $80 duralast

I've had Duralast in my 96 Accord for about 4 years now. Works fine so far. If I had to redo it again, I would rebuild my original starter, like replace the brush or fix the solenoid. You can buy the...

Re: need alignment help

Not sure what you're going to do, but the alignment shop would do all the adjustment. It's a flat rate and they will make to factory specs. However, I suggest getting new tires first before you do...

Re: how do i replace the steering rack boots?

I suggest go buy them from Honda dealership. ~$17 I originally bought them from auto zone and they were wrong sizes. It was frustrating. From judging from the pix, it seems you went with non oem, the...

Still using duralast on mine. I drive short distances, but it's been 3 years so far. So far so good. However, I wished I had rebuilt my original starter myself. Once you give it to these rebuild...

Re: Starting trouble with Honda accord 2001 4 cyl automatic

Re: 1997 Honda Accord "bubbling water" sound

Where is the water draining out from? Is it on the passenger side? Or more from the engine bay area? I would try to run the car without A/C and see if it still makes that sound or leaks on the ground.

Re: 1997 Honda Accord "bubbling water" sound

Was the A/C on when you drove it? Most likely from the AC system. This is normal.

Re: 96 Honda Accord Automatic Transmission trouble

Broken transmission. Time to replace it.

Same symptoms as on my 96 Accord. No forward, only reverse works.

The weird thing is you said it happened all of the sudden, no warning signs?...

Re: 96 missfireing

Check the conditions of where the spark plug wires meets the coils. Maybe there's a crack in them. Also check if your spark plug tubes is nice and dry. Even a slight hint of oil may be bad.

Re: My First Timing Belt Change 2000 Accord

If you are replacing the water pump, as you should, a...

Unless you're losing control of the car in dry surfaces, most likely your current tires cannot handle the rain that well.

How much thread do you have left on the tires?

I put on some Michelin...

Re: Timing belt adjuster pulleys.....repacking them with grease.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend it. It might pose some engine damage if the balls bearing should fall out.

You're right about stiffening the bearings. It is bad for it to spin too...
