Re: 93 Integra Idle Surge -- Very Strange

It looks like you have a fitv valve under the throttle body. Should be 2 8mm/10mm I cant remember but it’s dirty or came unscrewed. Tighten it up and it should be good to go.

Re: Stock head height for a B18C1

Most machine shops will indicate the head and redeck it taking off .002 to .005 to get a true surface.

It’s taking off anything that will keep the head from sealing to the new head gasket. A lot...

Re: D3300 - DC2 Race Car Build

Did you run the itr brake pads or tsx so the pads don’t have any over hang? I’m about to order everything to do this. Thanks for doing a parts list.

Re: [97 integra] cleaned throttle body, now engine stalling out

I would check to see if the map sensor got some gunk in it or blocking the passage way.

Re: Problem with VTEC engine..!!

Check your oil for metal shavings, could be a spin rod bearing or a clogged fuel filter/old spark plugs.

Re: Brake lights went out... Help...

It’s prolly the brake light switch. You can check to see if it’s getting 12volts at the plug off one of the wires if you do it’s prolly a bad switch if you don’t check your fuses.

Re: 96 Integra coupe wiring puzzle

What part of dfw are you in? I can look and see if I have a spare harness off my 96 gsr, it was cut when they messed up a alarm stall but can be fixed only 4 wires.

Re: Cuts off at 2k rpms

Check your grounds, also the ignitor ground on the thermostat housing with the 10mm. Clean it up with a wire brush and see if that helps. Also check the points on your ignition switch if they’re worn...

Re: B18C1 Burning Oil

I would check the pcv valve first could be stuck open. What type and weight of oil are you running?

Re: Broken heater outlet nipple

You can replace it, I took it off the car and cut it down flush. Then used a 47/64 drill to clean it out and came in with 3/4 tap and put a -10to 3/4 an fitting.

It will prolly be cheaper to hit...

Re: Integra GS-R interior dash blinks twice with oil sign

Did they do a leak down/compression test or is it a guess?

Check your plugs and see if any oil is on them.

Does the car smoke? Blue/white smoke? And when was the last time you changed the pcv...

Re: Crower 403 b18b

It could also be the itr header/cat I've seen some hytech 4-1 race headers that put out some good number for 200/250 used.

Is it just falling on its face? Or still trying to make power still?
