Re: 255/40-17 tires on 17x7's +38 offset on 6G accord

As a rule of thumb (and according to my handy tire size book) a 225 wide tire should be the maximum on a 7 inch wide rim. A 255 may mount on the rim fine, but I'm not sure how safe it would be in...

Re: Brighest Headlight bulb

12,000K not 12,000 watt.

HID retrofits are all around 35 watts for power consumtion. 12k or 12,000K (kelvin) is the color temperature (purple).

Re: F22b1 Stock Holding Capacity?

Well in my own opinion, anything over 8PSI on a daily basis will probably shorten the expected life of the engine, but on a good tune and quality bolt on parts you might be able to get away with it...

Re: crank pulley

Wow well then something must not be in there right. You may have to take off the timing cover, balance shaft pulley, timing belt pulley, and carefully put it all back together again to know for...

Re: F22b1 Stock Holding Capacity?

Damn 20 PSI? You must have a VERY good tune. Hopefully you can continue to put on miles for a long time to come. Thats a tough job on stock internals, but apparently your proof that Honda engines...

Re: Can someone help me identify the part that fell out of my car?

Im gonna stick with my original theory that it has something to do with a vibration damper of some sort. It also looks like it definatly acts a brace as well. Ive seen things that look like this...

Re: Couple questions for you accord people =P

Re: Can someone help me identify the part that fell out of my car?

It sounds to me like its a vibration damper for the exhaust system. A lot of vehicles have these now (and although not neccesary) they...

Re: 97 Accord Clutch Problems

Yes it sounds like the system just needs to be bled further. From my experience with bleeding clutches on the accords, it can take as many as 20 repetitions before most of the air is removed. Also...

Earlier today when I removed the thermostat completely...
