Default 97 Accord Clutch Problems

I recently changed my clutch in my 97 accord ex (f22b1). The clutch was changed succesfully without no problems at all, no broken pipes, sensors or nothing.

Howeve, i just put my car back together and when i am going to try to bleed the clutch, it wouldn't do nothing. The clutch pedal acts like if its not attached to nothing, plus the pedal only stays down, i could bring it up with my hands but that's about it. It won't come back up if i push it with my feet, also i tried bleeding it like this and it just won't do nothing to it.

What could i have done wrong ? I also checked the throw out bearing and its engaging so that's gotta be fine.

Unless you've forgotten a link rod or something went detached, you more than likely have a system full of air.
I would first suggest that you try bleeding the Clutch Master Cylinder first and then attack the rest.
It can be done on-car; so don't get all &*^% over it.

Yes it sounds like the system just needs to be bled further. From my experience with bleeding clutches on the accords, it can take as many as 20 repetitions before most of the air is removed. Also be sure you continue to check and top off the resivoir as you bleed, about every 5 repetitions will empty the resivoir, and if you let it get to the bottom and suck in some air, then you need to start all over again. And the pedal does need to be pushed and pulled- it is normal for it not to spring back during the bleeding process (unlike brakes that DO spring back).

Just remember:
-open bleeder screw
-push pedal down
-close bleeder screw
-pull pedal back up/ check fluid level
-repeat as neccesary

If you still get nothing on the pedal after bleeding, then its possible the throw-out bearing slipped off the fork, or the fork itself popped off the pivot during installation (in which both instances would require the trans to be dropped to reset them).

-good luck with the accord!

with my system completely empty, it took me a good 5 minutes of straight pumping by hand just to get a slight pressure. then a few more minutes to get to the proper pressure.
