Good call guys. I took the IACV off again to clean (again)....look what I found.

This must have happened when I was removing the intake manifold the first time - hence why this problem just...

Throttle plate closes all the way.

When IACV is unplugged, idle goes up and surging stops. I used compressed air and carb cleaner.

So, did more tests, and finally just decided to replace intake gasket. Followed torque specs and sequence to a T. No change!!!

Here is what happens on the FITV and IACV plug check:

Just tried what you said - it did exactly what you said. It died just about immediately with an insane amount of suction. Would this say the intake gasket is good?

Also - any thoughts on how to...

Thanks for the reply. I have CELs in the past and the light blinking below works. Right now shows nothing and CEL turns off on acc mode.

If you are referring to the top hole in the throttle body - when I cover that, it does not stall, but rather idles very very low (sounds like 600rpm - didn't have someone there to look :) )

Thanks Ron - added the info above.

One thing I didn't change was the intake manifold gasket....I can try there next.

The only reason I didn't think this was an issue was due to my propane/water...
