oh and he doesn't know when the timing belt was last changed.. i think i'm gonna use that as leverage to try and get him to come down more.

ok i took my car to the mechanic for an e-test. it failed because the NO was double what the passing limit should of been. he supposedly did work on it and it finally past after like 4 e-tests... but...

bybass for fuel pump when it gets clogged?

i heard someone tell me once that a fuel pump has a bypass valve were it starts sucking up fuel from if the sock filter thing for the main valve ever got clogged.. is this true? i have a walbro 255...

looks like be a dirt/rock grudgy buildup on the bottom of my tank and the sides of the tank have this what appears to be surface rust all over it. already rinsed the tank a few times with water and...

would a BAD map sensor ALWAYS throw a cel?

or can they get lazy and still mess up driveability without tripping a CEL?

and also not to mention when i took out the plugs to inspect them they have some black carbon coating in spots indicating a rich mixture/weak ignition...correct me if i'm wrong.

car is a 90 accord exr stickshift....
