i put the distributor on 180 by mistake and started it up..well tried to. then i put the dizzy back on the right way and it fit much nicely this...

well i searched team integra and it says there is NO Difference. still 142 hp.

now if i buy an engine that was orignally mated to an auto tranny, then will this affect power? will it still be 142...

i went by today and they said that the cam timing is off by at least 180 degrees and that there is a good chance that the valves are bent.

like u guys said i asked them wat if they take...

dude when u put the dizzy in 180 degrees off did u try starting the car? this cud have ruined the timing even more!. its the same thing i did and then when i took the dizzy out to snugly fit it in...

the dizzy coil was slowly failing as i was driving..it wud shut off and hten re start when it was cooler and then shut off...

il try that tim. i havent gone there yet. but the thing is..the car would start up after a few minutes if it cooled off..so wudnt it be the coil that was slowly failing?....after the car cooled...

i think i have the same problem..acura says its off 220 degrees tho and my intake and exhaust valves are open at the...

this happend shortly after my distributor went..honda acura tells me that the engine is gonna be toats if i start it...my question is somehow the intake cam timing got offset 220 degrees off....now...

i took it there to simply install a whole NEW different distributor because i tried installing a new rebuilt coil one on my car and i had no luck. the rotor was facing cylinder 3...
