After carefully rechecking the wires I noticed I accidentally crossed the remote in with the +12v. Once connected correctly everything turned on fine.

I dont understand why it would be the pump considering that it wasnt making that noise prior to changing the hose. The fluid i used is original honda power steering fluid. could a loose belt cause it...

It generally takes three days. The old Die Hard Gold battery was 11 months old. However it was replaced with a new one this weekend.

My apologies, please delete this previous post. Apparently upon fidgeting with my iphone i must have hit the auxillary switch on my LC7. Thats what cause the volume to become barely audible.
