I don't have a bleeder bolt for the cooling system on my JDM Type R as well but mine's a 98 spec. Same thing, I just bleed it with the cap off and let the bubbles out that way.

u can check for play jack the car up and wiggle the axle going into the tranny to see how much play u have up down side to side.

u r going to have to put some miles on them before they get their usual grip. Same thing happened to me when i got all new tires. After a hundred miles or so it was good to go.
