I have a 96 Gsr Shell complete with everything, just a blown bottom end, im trying to put a 95 LS Engine in it, Im doing this for a daily driver, no LS/vtec, all the engine is, just the motor, intake...

is it possible to use stock springs in the front, and h&r sport springs in the back, or would this cause an issue

Would a DC Sports 4-2-1 99-00 Si/SiR header fit a 2001 GSR and i heard it connects to the Stock Cat, which i have.

SIR-G Front Ends in Canada

Im trying to buy a SIR-G Front end for my DC, any sites people would recommend , i remember PasswordJDM used to ship em out here, but dont have any, im in winnipeg btw.

the fronts will fit no problem, its the rear seats is the problem, since there plastic clip tabs on 98+, while 94-97 have metal 'things' on it

yea stock, the muffler is rusted out, so all i need a impact 1/2 socket or use the trusty breaker bar, so ill see.

When to change the Fuel Filter

When do you change the fuel filter on a 96 GSR, every year? doesnt have an interval in the manual, i looked online says a generic annual interval or 20000km

Its the last thing to do for tuneup on my 96 GSR, anyhow im in canada, so there are canadian prices, theres a $16 fuel filter and A $45 fuel filter, the latter being the wix brand, or would be good...

it's time for a tune-up, so i need to replace these, does the brand really matter, because oem is like $80 for the set, while i can get some japanese made ones for like $30, does it really matter?

GSR Exhaust

So I have a 96 GSR.

If i replace everything would an LS/Type R Exhaust would work as in change the Header, Cat, B-Pipe, Downpipe, and Muffler, as i still have my old LS as a parts car.

ok, sparkplugs and wires are good, i do get a unsteady idle, tried the ecu fuse thingy, and no water shoots out, im thinking the dizzy cap and rotor might need to be replaced..

im assuming its the brakes, its coming from the front drivers wheel, so ill do it on monday, none of other wheels are making the noise, and no i havent changed the header at all
