What is a combination switch?

I have a 93 accord, parking lights, brake lights and speedometer gauge lights went out. i had it checked out, and found out it is a combination switch that is bad.
I was curious if i could replace...

well nothing got wet per say! i guess it wasn't even that bad of rain...

wait.. if i discconnect battery, and reset ecu that should get rid of that right?

I am trying to find a wire that would be responsible for parking lights, gauge (speedometer lights), and the warning sound (lights left on). For some reason these things are not working in my car....

My car gauges light (speedometer) and rare lights are out it is not a fuse coz i have checked them all. i thought it was a bad ground but now i am note sure.
