'99 GSR, cluster was working perfectly.. all warning lights worked the way they should.. I was digging around...

Yep, spare tire well turned into a lake.. it got so bad my car (99 GSR) would have condensation on the inside of the glass.. sucks to scrape more ice off the inside than the outside...

there's a coupla tabs that go into the body, and the rest is held in place by super sticky urethane adhesive.. have fun getting it out :P it's a pain

I'd guess your head got warped when you removed it, or when you torqued it back down.. did you loosen/tighten in the correct sequence?

I've had bearings go out.. they sound real ugly, but there was no play in the hub.. once I took the hub off, it was obvious it was the bearing..

and yeah, you can get a hub with a bearing in it...
