Clutch pedal hit the floor, wont return
No time to search, sitting in my car waiting for the tow truck on a 'borrowed' WAP heh
anyhow, clutch has been acting funny for the last 40-50 miles, works fine, engages in the right spot, but every now and then, usually in stop and go traffic, the clutch pedal hits the floor and wont return. I have to pull it back up with my foot, and it'd start to work again..
I pulled over and topped off the fluid, looked pretty dirty, and was a bit low, but not empty.. worked fine for a while, until I got back off the freeway, and into the stop and go stuff.. of course it hits the floor and wont return at all when it was my turn to go.. nothing there at all now. before, I'd at least get some pressure on the pedal and the clutch would be usable, but I think it's shot now.. barely over a mile from home no less bleh.
hopefully it's something easy like the master/slave assm.. or 'easy' compared to doing the clutch..
I dont notice any fluid leaks, but it is getting dark, and cant see too good.. Start with a new master/slave? try bleeding it? am I way off? throw me a bone
Thanks

B4 swapping out your MC check to see if your carpet is wet/soaked w/fluid from the MC. If that's okay, check the SC by squeezing the boot to see if it leaks.

will do.. I kinda felt around for a leak inside, felt dry, but it was dark out.. I'll check the slave between rain squalls here in a bit..
the more digging I do, the more it seems like I just need to burp the lines.. now I have an excuse to pick up that reverse bleeder I've been eyeballing for the last couple years

welp, good call.. went out this morning before work, and found the slave cyl puking all over.. the rain last night made it tougher to spot, but when I gave the boot a squeeze, it spewed fluid everywhere.. shopping for a slave cyl now.. Ebay has the MC/SC combo for $41 shipped.. better than autozone's $55 for just the SC
thanks again!
