Fraudluent material?... or authentic?

I've recently bought a Garrett turbo (or what I thought was a Garrett turbo), but when I received it, it didn't say Garrett anywhere on it. Instead, it had XSPower on the housing casting. I was told...

Re: 96 accord 4dr suspension questions (slickonetoo)

I have somewhat of the same dilemma. With a body kit and added weight in the trunk by my audio equipment, I can't really afford to have my car any lower than it already is, but I still want a better...

Re: Slanted / tilted engine... yeah that could be a problem (brian g)

but wouldn't getting new engine mounts essentially circumvent the whole binding issue, alltogether? i'm just pressed about the whole issue 'cause i'd have to pay $200 for them to do "something"......

Slanted / tilted engine... yeah that could be a problem

Ok... maybe a "problem" is a bit of an understatment.
Basically, I had a company (Porters Performance) finish a few lingering problems with my h22a swap. Well, when it was finally returned (4 months...

Re: Need Honda Professional Help, H22a Swap problem, going to shoot myself in face!!! (Ntense90crxsi

I had a similar problem... only to find out that the coil in my distributor went bad. If I were you, I'd try changing out the distributor.

Re: VTEC non-engagement (DevontElan)

VTEC non-engagement

I recently did an H22a engine swap and 5-speed conversion in my '96 accord. Before I had done the 5-speed conversion, my vtec was working fine, but now won't engage. The odd thing is that it's not...

WTB - Prelude Transmission Control Module (TCM)

I'm doing an H22a swap in my Accord, and the only thing stopping me from finishing it is the transmission control module for a 92-96 Prelude, automatic with VTEC. I'd prefer the JDM version, but at...

Re: ECU problem (boomslang)

I would need the TCM for the H22a, correct? Or would I need the TCM for the Accord?
Lastly, I have the OBD2 to OBD1 piggyback harness. Is the harness you're refering to different than the one I...

ECU problem

I'm doing an H22a swap in my '96 accord. I finished everything regarding the swap except the wiring and few hose connections. When I took it to the mechanics shop, I was told that I needed a P13 OBD2...

Rig my cruise control?

I just recently did a H22a swap in my '96 Accord. I've heard that there's no one particular way of hooking up the cruise control, but I was wondering if anyone had any pictures of how they rigged up...

Re: Odyssey Mobile DVD player installation (itsmike)

Yes... you would have to cut a large hold in the headliner... but it's fine 'cause the DVD player will cover it up.

Also... I wouldn't suggest getting your 12V right there at the dome light. 99%...

Re: Bad day with amp install (civic_speed99)

Personally I'd check to make sure that you have all good connections.
While the amp is hooked up in the car, get a multimeter and do a continuity test between the ground on the amp and a ground on...

Re: Odyssey Mobile DVD player installation (nazeers)

Here's the basics:

You're going to need an FM Modulator. That way you can play the DVD sound through your car speakers. Secondly, you're going to need some RCA's (if your mobile DVD player doesn't...

Re: CD Player problems.. (xDA9x)

Try taking the radio out and check (with a multi-meter) that you actually have 12V (switch and constant) at the wire harness. If you find out that you don't have 12V's, then you know it's something...

Re: LCD Screen Mounting Locations (Cav)

Sorry about that. I have a '96 Accord EX.
I'd like to keep the interior as "stock looking" as possible. I had thought of putting it in my passenger sun visor or replacing my rearview mirror with the...
