Re: What kind of primer should i use?

These are my thoughts on spray can auto primer, for what it's worth..

Rustoleum auto primer is hard sanding and low build. It behaves kind of like a sealer in that regard. I prefer Duplicolor...

Re: Holset users unite!

Cool man. Yeah I think your controller for the actuator could handle it all really as you said. The WG actuator is just going to be reading map basically, which is one of the things your controller...

Re: Has anyone put compound turbos on any DOHC Honda's?

Sidebar.. I was planning on upping my 14b z6 to a homemade twin scroll hx35 setup.. now I'm kind of entertaining the idea of 14b + hy35 or h1c for 400-450.

Re: Has anyone put compound turbos on any DOHC Honda's?

I hear you, you really want to keep the compounding throughout the powerband. T25 + hy35 would be too much of a jump for that case then and to run the bypass you would screw up what you're trying to...

Re: Has anyone put compound turbos on any DOHC Honda's?

And it is clearly a compound setup, think of it as an improved compound. I'm not saying it will be easy or you would use a wastegate. I said "could be a wastegate" and "I read wastegate." It would...

Compound with a "check valve" (I read wastegate) that bypasses the small turbo when appropriate. Granted, this graphic...

Re: Has anyone put compound turbos on any DOHC Honda's?

Again, I'm saying it is a compound setup with a feature that keeps the air from getting hot as hell on the top end. Think outside the box for a second.

Re: High Horsepower H-series thread

They probably figure they can probably sell more adapters for proven OEM intake styles than their own intakes. That and some of their intakes kind of suck.

Re: Changing colors on interior panels

Yep, SEM interior dye. Interior dyes are even used in restoration projects. My father in law is using a red interior dye for his 63 vette on some parts they just don't make anymore. Came straight...

Re: How to put integra front on eg hatch

Back half of EG fenders welded to front half of DC fenders. USDM is not a good look, JDM front however can be a good look. The proportions are a lot better.

Re: Has anyone put compound turbos on any DOHC Honda's?

I see one extra pipe, big turbo outlet to small turbo outlet with a presssure activated valve. But i see your point about tuning. Iats would rapidly drop when that valve opens

Re: Has anyone put compound turbos on any DOHC Honda's?

I gotcha, similar setups physically but different operations. I would assume for the compound setup you want fairly similarly sized turbos.

Seems like the diagrams i posted are compound on low...

Re: Has anyone put compound turbos on any DOHC Honda's?

Ah yes, I forgot this place has become honda-untech. Let's go back to talking about how to keep nuts tight and threads of parts lists.

Re: Has anyone put compound turbos on any DOHC Honda's?

Why would the t25 pump hot air? The WG to the big turbo would open and the charge pipe check valve would as well; the gases will find the path of least resistance.

Re: Has anyone put compound turbos on any DOHC Honda's?

It is completely worth it if you have the engine bay space to work with. That is the biggest obstacle, making everything fit. Pick a power goal. Size the big turbo for that goal. Pick a turbo...
