B18A1 / B18B1 OEM Complete Gasket Assemblies Compatability

I'm in the process of rebuilding a 1991 B18A1 motor to OEM specifications. Unfortunately it appears that the OEM gasket kits for a 1991 Integra are discontinued.

WTB: Complete D16A6 Swap

I am looking for a complete D16A6 swap assembly. Willing to consider just a longblock if that is all you have. I do not technically need the ECU, engine wiring harness, or intake manifold if you...

Re: WTB: EH3 92-95 Civic Si

Per the OEM USDM Honda brochures:
92 are Flint Black.
93-95 are Granada.

That said, I have owned a 92 Flint Black (build date Nov 91), and I have heard of accounts of 92 Granadas (such as...

WTB: EH3 92-95 Civic Si

Looking for a clean, mint, OEM low mileage original paint EH3. B-series swaps ok, must have most of original interior and must have original paint and body panels.
No rust.

In particular, would...

Re: Have a swap question if anyone can help

Yes, the fuel maps may be slightly lean for the compression ratios as you will have slightly higher compression (about 10.6 to 11:1), but overall it should work. Fine tuning with Hondata or similar...

Re: PLEASE HELP! Need some help putting back my AC and PS.

All cars do have the three prong plug for the thermostatic expansion valve, and all cars have the harness plug for the diode already there, no wiring is needed, just plug it all in.
The AC button...

Re: 98-0408: State Farm supports texting while driving

Are you sure this is car #408? Pic of the badge?

Just curious as I believe another car is #408 based on the ITR registry.

Re: ITR w/ AC Kit, anybody have the .pdf instructions?

Install has gone well. All parts bolt up perfectly.

I utilized the RS kit, a GSR P72 AC bracket.

The only differences which are notable are the following:
-the 97 and earlier AC harness has...

Re: Jalopnik Integra Type R article

I too cringed at the factual shortcomings and seeing the sunroof is criminal. Its more likely that its a GSR with a Type R dash installed :)

Nonetheless, any press is good press. The comments...

Re: P73 vs P72 AC Mount

Correct, however most of the ITR (UDSM and JDM swaps) have the full cast iron part. I'm not sure what exactly the aluminum came on from the factory, be it the EK9 or the AC-less ITR motors. I find...

Re: ITR w/ AC Kit, anybody have the .pdf instructions?

The kit arrived. I'm actually blown away at the amount of parts and detail in the kit. Its an absolute bargain compared to most OEM parts at ~$600 shipped for the entire group.

The only part I...

Re: P73 vs P72 AC Mount

I guess the question is more, why would Honda go through the effort to cast a new, heavier, part for the ITR when the lighter P72 part was already available? Is their a structural purpose? Does the...

P73 vs P72 AC Mount

In searching for an AC mount to put AC back into my 98 R, I noticed that the P72 mount (USDM GSR) is substantially lighter/less beefy than the USDM ITR P73 mount, which is a solid cast iron piece....

WTB: B series AC engine mount + 4 bolts

Looking for the AC mount from the front of a B18.

Ideally I would be using a P73 mount from a JDM or USDM B18C (would have P73 stamp, made of steel).
A US spec standard B18C1 mount (P72) would...

Re: Distributor for 1998 EUDM B18C6

I did a bit of digging and it appears that the general housings of TD-81 to TD-87 are essentially the same. The ITR supposedly uses a more robust rotor mechanism.
Perhaps try another aftermarket...

Re: Distributor for 1998 EUDM B18C6

Do you still have the original dizzy, and have you tested what is actually wrong with it?

If it isn't the bearings but just the ignitor or coil, I would rebuild the one you have by replacing those...
