Icon3 Re: DIY: A/C - Cooling System

I believe you may be confusing the recirculate door for a blend door. If you have hot coolant flowing through your heater core, you will be heating the air blowing out your vents no matter which...

Re: What size are the brake/fuel/return lines?

I noticed you have some miles on your accord, almost 250k myself! I am talking about the whole hard fuel line from the tank forward, as well as the brake lines and return fuel line while I'm at it....

What size are the brake/fuel/return lines?

I need to replace them all. My fuel line is dripping when under pressure so while I'm at it I am changing everything over to Nicopp nickel-copper alloy tubing so they will never rust again.

I...

Re: Oil Pan Replacement

The lower header picture is the correct one for the F22B2, single, not double exit.

I just replaced the oil pan on my 94 and I recall I had one of the top manifold-to-downtube bolts spin...

Re: Most likely cause of fuel leak??? 94 Accord

Fun Fact: My failed fuel line carried some 8000 gallons of fuel to my engine over its life time, it will be missed... And on a more depressing note, that about 27,000 dollars worth of fuel at todays...

Re: Most likely cause of fuel leak??? 94 Accord

An excellent idea, might as well right or you will just have to drop the tank again.

It drips for awhile after the pump has primed and eventually stops. I found out why yesterday, the main hard...

Re: Most likely cause of fuel leak??? 94 Accord

Yes, definitely a tank drop. I was just wondering if there is a "common" culprit on 18 year old but otherwise well taken care of Hondas.

As long as its not a rusted through hard line. That would...

Most likely cause of fuel leak??? 94 Accord

94 Accord, just over 240K now, f22b2. Its slow dripping from the fuel tank area, near the plastic guard on the drivers side of the tank. I can still drive the car with no ill effect on fuel delivery...

Re: DIY: A/C - Cooling System

Another thing to check if your AC is not cold, is that your heater core valve on the firewall is closing all the way and not allowing hot coolant into he heater core to fight your A/C's cooling...

Re: Engine cooling fan problem please help!

I had this happen on my 94 many years ago, turned out to be a corroded ground on top of the AC compressor preventing the completion of the electrical circut spinning the fan with the AC on.

You...

Re: 95 Honda Accord 2.4L vibration at stop

You could replace the rear motor mount, and sometimes a couple flushes with high quality fluid will cure auto tranny hard shifts.

Re: Oil leak near Oil Filter

Mine starter leaking around a year ago and I first took it out, re honda-bonded, and reinstalled. Still leaked!

It turns out it was leaking through the internal housing, so it had to be replaced...

I searched, but everything pointed to a speed...

Re: Bypassing the IAC?

Fast Idle control/thermo valve is definitely the culprit, and all it takes is a good cleaning or a "tightening" of the white plastic valve seat to stop the hunting idle. (depending on your situation)...
