The D16 was available in JDM and EDM 1st gens and it fits nicely. But the availability of parts is scarce for that engine. I would highly recommend going for a B series swap.

An internet search has not turned up really small velocity stacks for my intake project, maybe someone on HT knows of a source. They need to start at ~30mm and open up to about 45mm while staying...

Ignition switches in old Hondas are known to fail. Try replacing the ignition switch.

Check eBay. Reproduction fenders are available for less than $100 each and they fit pretty well. Be sure to slather a good amount of fiberglas on the inside of the fenders to give them longer life.

Leave the stock front sway bar, it is fine. Concentrate on getting a large rear sway bar. And replace the suspension bushings.

That is cool... but the D15 is not very well supported in the aftermarket. B and K series are where the performance parts are.

You can make anything "fit," all it takes is fabrication skills. Right now there is not commerically available engine mounts to put the 88+ engine/tranny combination into a '87 or earlier Civic/CRX....

It is your ignition switch. They go bad over time, specially if you or a previous owner had a key ring full of keys (the weight kills the ignition switch).

Long story short, to re-index your torsion bars you will need to remove them from the torsion tubes and put them back in one nothc lower.
