A solid tune will take you a long ways on that motor. I did 277hp & 255trq on the B20b (8.8:1 Comp ratio) back in the day. T3/T4 turbo. Was running 15psi consistently for quite some time.

It was was the spark plugs... I never replaced them when I did the engine swap about 30,000 miles ago....

The more I thought about the cooling system being clogged, the more sense it made. Swapped them out today and the fan started cycling properly.

I’ll jump the fan and drive around today and see what happens. As for the T stat its a value craft unit from vatozone.

Didnt change a damn thing and it fired up. I think it was flooded.

Yes. Yes. I am pretty sure my gauge reads low but it is the same on all 4 cyl. 90psi cold.

Timing marks line up.

Spark is orange.

Wont start. Y7 (same engine that was in there) into a 98 LX. Drove it into the garage w/old engine.
