If you are having idle issues I would check the idle air control valve like others have said and also a small rubber vacuum line that runs off the manifold. If pinched or cut it will cause the idle...

I've run the KAAZ LSD in my rsx in over 12 events. Holds very well and ask for more abuse.
It pulls hard out of a corner and keeps the power going to both wheels evenly.

Quaife is a good lsd for daily driving, should you want to venture onto the track I'd recommend the Kaaz 1.5
I run this in my rsx and it has held up great and does the job.

Wavetrac is NOT OBX....

Would GM syncro mesh help a grind?

Just curious to see if anyone has used GM syncro mesh to help with a grind.
I track(road race) the car once a month, and its popping out of 2nd gear with a grind in 2-3 gear.

Abs has helped but at the moments im having problems with it such as it engaging at 20% braking.

Nasa time trails has open passing with caution, as does HPDE 4.
In order to participate in NASA TT, and HPDE 4 you might have to contain a few items necessary (safety items) to go into that group....

During normal driving conditions even spirited driving on the streets you will not have a need for the oil cooler unless as stated...

The noise is coming from the valve cover plate.
The item that says "Ivtec" on it.
Its been known to come loose after time.
Just get a 10mm and tighten the 2 bolts up and you should be fine.

You may get lucky and it will go in after a few tries or you could be doing this for an hour or so.

I've had both incidents happen to me before....
