Just my .02, use a power resistor that can be attach to a some kind of heat sink, those kind of resistor in the picture will not dissipate the heat so much.

GM map sensor?

Using a GM MAP sensor without replacing or upgrading the stock ecu, is there away to make the GM MAP sensor to operate properly? Such like a series resistor on the signal. The car will be 99 SI.

Car won't move

I did a swap 97 LS motor to 97 Civic coupe. All the wiring are done, no check engine. During a test run, the car moves reverse or forward on gear. Then later on the car suddenly won't move in gear...

Maybe time to replace your timming belt. To check remove the distibutor cap and have a buddy crank the car and see if the rotor spins, and if not timming belt problem.
