I would call american honda and say that the bulletin states valve adjustment is required and that is part of the bulletin. you should not have to pay unless you're out of the power train warranty....

To me it sounds like the engine is pinging... What grade gas r u using. If it was a misfire most of the time it will flash the mil. Also check your spark plus specially rear bank. For oil fouled...

you can open it, but you wiill need a special torx five point tampered. it's only a small cylinder that locks the gear on the newer VTC gears. remove three bolts keep gear facing up, turn around...

check the vtc actuator o-ring they tend to leak, and it's hard to see the leak due to their position.

check your evaporator drain pipe, might be cloggged or pinched, if not it will happen again.

the VTC actuator needs to be changed there is a TSB on it, this is basically the intake cam gear that controls cam timing. normal warranty applies.

check the air assist thermo valve is located on the intake manifold is black in color and one hose goes to the air intake, do this when completely warm up disconnect the hose from the intake that...

no there not the front one is A/F ratio sensor not an oxygen sensor, the rear one is just an oxygen sensor.

sounds like the flexplate is backwards, if you removed it, but there is no reason for that, or possibly internal damage to the used trans.
