Re: pics of rs*r equipped lude (stoopid215)

I got mine when they stopped selling them in the US and (racingbeat) was clearing out their inventory. I paid $365 shipped for the black one (polished was $50 more.) They are barely louder than...

Re: can anybody recommend a good alarm shop in illinois that do compustar? (ARRR 319)

Did you find the authorized dealers? I would talk to the installer, tell them exactly what you want and get a price. Be prepared to spend more for good installation, most shops are geared towards...

Re: JDM fogs installed in 97 Prelude SH...PICS INCLUDED! (MugenPoweredLude)

Ya, they look nice but $300 for regular fogs is too much IMO.

Re: autostart for a 5speed? (HandCommand)

I hear what you're saying but it's not hard to see how a cop wouldn't believe or understand you. Of course you could demonstrate to them that the car can't be driven off. Disarm the alarm, exit the...

Re: Clifford rs-3? (Akina)

The Avantguard IV is a much better as far as security goes but it's $1k installed. The DEI pager is basically the time tested Viper 550 with paging capabilities. I heard the remotes go through a...

Re: autostart for a 5speed? (vteg)

Jeez, do a search. You exit the vehicle running, the alarm sees the door shut and when you arm it the engine shuts off. Now the RS knows the shifter is in neutral since the engine would die if you...

A new Honda part does. You may be able to find one used on preludeonline.com or ebay.

Re: buyng a prelude (tim anto)

I would try to get it down to $8k, use the rust as leverage. You should definitely try to stop the rust in its tracks. The shocks may need replacing with 100k miles. Have a mechanic look over the...

Re: clifford matrix rs3 any good? (EkREV)

You're probably gonna drop $600 out-the-door (relays, trasponder bypass.) They sell the exact same thing under Viper and Python. If installed well it's a good, proven alarm. Add a battery backup, it...

Re: 92 JDM prelude..... (Wont be beat)

I heard it's not actually a tax but the inspections get more costly as the car gets older. The auto makers must love that rule...

Re: For you alarm guys out there... (louder160)

Uh, I think behind the fender is a much better idea. One good whack will disable a siren.

Re: Which Clifford Alarm should I get for my 99 Civic SI?????? (darkknightwong)

Get the Concept 200 or Intelliguard 6000 (basically the same alarm.) Add a hood pin switch and battery backup (your car comes with a trunk switch.) Above all else though make sure it's installed...

Re: Possibly FS: my car =) (Mike95lude)

5G to an ITR? That's a big step down IMO but then again you have Tein HA's so you're pretty extreme...You should definitely think about it for a while, the grass is always greener on the other side.

Re: How to trick the clutch doing a remote start? (GSRrR)

Talk to every alarm installer who thought they'd never remote start their [manual] car in gear. They eventually do and if they're lucky they only damage their car, if they're unlucky they hurt...

Re: remote start (96LudeSiVTEC)

Re: Help with installing remote start! (FourthGenHatch)

Yes, you may need to program the channel. I have no idea how to do it with this brand.
