what baffled oil pan are you running?
please keep this serious.
I'm running mugen currently, so I'll add this to the list... feel free to add your own and vote. Please also specify if this is for road race or autox, etc, and type of tyres you use...
I autox mostly - a few lapping days here and there...
But I was thinking of getting something with trap doors like the canton.....

Stock with OEM baffles.
I use sticky tyres.
EDIT: Guess I should mention this in on a D16A6 engine.

We bought a Spoon and a Mugen at the same time, and decided to install the Mugen. It was just a "neater" item. It wouldn't matter one little bit in the actual use of the item, but it impressed us that the Mugen pan was completely finished, whereas the Spoon pan had visible welds.
Obviously it's going to be completely covered in oil so it doesn't matter, but it impressed us that the effort had been made so we went with it.
The advice to get one came from Ichishima, but the one we installed was his competitor's. Irony.
The use in my case is a DC2 ITR in Summit Point FATT and Seat Time events, and NASA weekends.

I would stay away from the stock pan road racing. Especially on a freshly built motor. But thats just an opinion, there are tons of them out there. Btw I went with the mugen pan also. Very nice piece.

I accidentally voted for "Stock, OEM baffles", but that's not what I use..
I have an OEM pan modified by Marcus at HeelToeAuto to be baffled..

I had a Moroso on my B18C1. It was mainly on there because that's how I purchsed the car and didn't think much of it.
At my 2nd autocross in the car (I have autocrossed for 4 years in other cars), I oil starved on a long sweeper and spun a rod bearing. There was, in fact, the proper amount of oil in the pan.
Having done this, I would say to definitely stay away from the Moroso pan for road racing/autocross.
After seeing the positive feedback here, looks like my next pan will be a Mugen.

Have you seen the new moroso oil pans? They are 5.5qt capacity, and have 6 "trap doors" around the pickup. It also has a baffle similar to the Mugen pan. It is not a modified stock pan, it features heavier gauge material than the stocker. I'll post some pics of the trap doors soon.

I have a feeling you have the same moroso pan that I have the drag pan not the RR pan. I hate my drag pan and am in the market for a RR pan becuase of the exact reasons my car will oil starve if I take an on or off ramp to agressivly and also under hard braking. Needless to say I don't do a lot of each right now becuase I do not want to replace my motor. I would doubt that the Moroso RR pan would have the issues that you have mentioned.

Mugen, used to run my old R bone stock (wheels, tires and brakes was all) no baffled pan and never had any major problems (basically no oil light lol (then again I wasnt usually looking at the cluster in the corners either ). All HPDE of course on street tires.

Re: what baffled oil pan are you running? (KOALA YUMMIES)
stock modified by me D16z6 pan for track days and A/X on RT615's
I spun a bearing during instrumental testing (skid pad) w/ the stock pan so I stepped it up.

What kind of issues have you seen with the RR pan? I have issues with the drag pan but that is becuase I want more of a RR car not a drag car.

The canton one is nice, but it costs about $100 more than the Moroso RR pan, at least for B series. And with the Canton pan, at least when I bought my Moroso pan, they only had it for engine w/o girdle (b series). Since I added the Z10 girdle, I couldn't run it.

Re: (DavidR)
I run a stock, unmodified pan on my ITC CRX (1.5l) and have had no issues even when running on rovals with r-compound tires.
I do generally run the oil level slightly above full and have an oil cooler.
