camber kit/ NEW QUESTIONS
1995 del sol vtec. car is only used for autox and driving to the event. keep in mind the drive is sometimes over 2 hrs. i would like to have something easily adjustable(skunk 2 pro series). everyone recommends spc-this type looks like a pain in the *** to adjust. opinions on any other brands would be appreciated. i need something for the front right now. i did the washer trick on the rear to get the camber to -1.2 both sides.

sorry to bring this up again. thanks to those who have helped so far.
Skunk sells the pro series with new poly bushings for another 20.00. You cannot purchase the bushings from honda seperately-you must spend 130.00 per side, and get the whole arm assembly. Any problems with these bushings? Does someone else sell just uca "bolts" with the bushings. Anyone have pics of the SPC uca-their site is all part numbers (or did i miss something?). Do they come with the bushings? They should for 375.00.

If its an autocross car, why would you remove camber?
I'm using SPC UCAs in the front, and its got to be easier to adjust than the skunk2 units, its a single huge nut instead of 4 tiny ones. Not that I know either way, since I don't have an alignment rack, the shop adjusts it for me when they align the car.

get the skank2. the ball joints or offset bushings have clearance issues, though, i guess the offset bushings won't have clearance issues unless you're adding pos. camber.
the skank 2 is lower profile and alot of people use them, even if the company tends to suck.

The guy at the tire place today asked me if I had any neon *shudder*
I use the Omni front upper arms, which are the same as the old-style Skunk2 arms. They work fine for me, but I treat my car fairly gently. The whole arm style seems like it's a lot easier to adjust than the ball joints (like SPC) and as monkey pointed out, they don't take up as much room, either.
For other options, search archived topics in this forum for "camber". It's a topic that's been covered a lot.

Re: (nello a.)
I like my skunk setup. I switched my four bolts out to regular bolts, they come with alan's, too easy to strip, as it use to see snow, and wonderful michigan over salting procedures. The original ball joints went out in a hurry. The replacements i bought have lasted fine, i should mention, that went out was the boot's. The actual joint was fine, no slop. I do tend to rub on my inner fenders with them, but nothing serious.... for me. I have no experience with the other ones you mentioned, so sorry can't help ya.

Re: SPC or skunk 2? camber kit (nello a.)
I assume you are talking about the front kit? I would recomend neither, and just face the fact if you daily drive the car the front tires will wear out sooner. But heres why. Both kits are going to cause you problems. The SPC kit replaces the ball joint, the new one is much taller than the OEM one. This will elevate the outside of the upper control arm, from the spindle. The upper control arm will then wind up hitting the inside of the fender when the suspension is compressed; not good. As for the Skunk2 setup this style also will raise the outside of the upper control arm and IMO 4 little bolts are not something that I would trust to keep tight, and not slip.
Also if you are going to be playing with your camber you will also have to adjust your toe setting too...... every time or you will wear out your tires and then you are back to square one.

92-95 Civic front suspension is the same as 94-01 Integra.

SPC has 2 different ways to adjust camber on the 92-95 Civic / 94-01 Integra. They do have offset balljoints, and they also have complete UCAs with a sliding plate. Both will push the UCA up higher than stock, and both will reduce suspension clearance. I'm using the SPC UCAs, and they do seem to have a little more clearance than the skunk2 units, because of their thinness and curved shape.

sorry to bring this up again. thanks to those who have helped so far.
I had poly bushings in an Ingalls camber kit before I switched to the SPC UCAs. Aside from squeeking, and lots of it, over every bump, after the install grease washed out in 2 weeks, they seemed fine. I've heard many complain about poly though, since it seems to deform over time. Mine still look new, but they were on the car for less than 4 months before I got sick of them.
