do you even race
http://outlawrun.com/
The first EVER OutlawRun is sure to knock your socks off. This rally was designed with the performance modified market in mind. This course is as challenging as it is scenic. We invite you to the ultimate driving adventure.
Testing these terrorizing roads dates way back in history to the prohibition era. The dark history of the South revolved around the creation and transportation of liquor on some of the United States' most dangerous roads. The OutlawRun begins and ends in Greenville, SC. In a vicious two days of 700 miles, 1500 turns, and four mountainous states, who knows where in unwritten history you will end up.

Re: do you even race
That's some sweet driving! Wish they would do closed course stages, that way you could really open it up and not worry about having the police chase you.

Re: do you even race
I don't get the thread title "Do you even race?" Is this even a race? Looks like every other sort of Cannonball/Gumball knock off where people end up speeding on public roads. But then the whole, "It's not a race, it's a rally" gets tossed around and it ends up being OK?
If this is some sort of actual sanction TSD rally, you sure as heck don't make it appear that way.
I really wish events like this didn't associate with the name Rally on either TSD road rally or Stage Rally. Makes it hard for us to find legit roads to do actual racing on when people hear "rally" and think gumball supercars whipping through the town from news broadcasts.

I agree Billy. This is more like giving people a free ticket to go out and be stupid on the road.
If its sanctioned and there are time/speed limits imposed thats a good thing.
or just lets go out on this drive, and have a good time but lets be safe.
This kind of sounds like a recipe for stupidity.
I dont condone spirited driving on public roads.
Seems like they need to clarify more of whats tollerated and not allowed.

Why I race cars...a psychological analysis...a fantasy?...a love story?...well, it's strange anyway.
