Default anyone had any experience with this harness bar?

Has anyone had any experience with this bar? If so, let me know what you think. It's a great price compared to the Sparco unit.

Might do that

I'd still like to hear some opinions from anyone who has used it though

Looks like it bolts onto the B-pillar at the stock seat belt locations? Is that how is goes? It is hard to tell with the small pics.

Thats why I'm asking..I'm a bit skeptical. As BrianZ said, I probably should just give them a call.

I had a stable energies guide bar when I had my delSol. I tried to transfer it to the Integra but the fit was a little funky. Would have worked great with just a little machining. Remember not to use this for track days; only for autocross. Having 4,5, or 6 point harness and not having a roll bar or cage is just asking for spinal injuries or death in a rollover.

I'm well aware of the possibilities of that, I don't want this thread to turn into a cage vs. harness bar debate

I currently dont use mine but i loved it :cough: would sell :cough:. I used it for a camera/harness bar, worked great with the camera mount. For autocrossing it was perfect. Took about 2min to install.

Is this for Autox Or HPDE?

If for Autox I say its fine just don't use it on the street.

If it's for HPDE i would not use it.

And if it is for autox just get one of these they work great

Its for the auto-x car I'm trying to get together. I was planning on running this bar with a three or four pt. harness.

I plan on running HPDE's sometime in the future but I plan on caging the car before that, the harness bar is just temporary I guess you could say.

give Ken a call, he is what he like to call a "saftey geek", and that is ment in the very best of way.

Simply put he knows saftey and takes it serously.

I'll check it out on the website. If it is the same how much would you want for it.

It's showing on the website that the 92-95 bar is a different length.

That's a really good price though, it's too bad it won't work for 92-95.

I actually just got another one today. They work very well . You should get a roll bar but if your doing trackdays in your street car and don't like getting punted into the dash under braking it'll be fine.

I think I might order one...it seems more practical for what I'm going to be doing in the near future...I'll just get a cage or rollbar before I run any HPDE's.

I use one in my EG, I also have a autopower bolt-in. I still use the bar since the belt attachment location on the cage is so low, I run the straps over the bar to avoid spine compression in an accident.
