any one buying Toyo tires from "Track Source"?

i can't find this source any where when i google, etc.

but they claim to have good prices per the NASA link:

$4 savings is not "good prices"

especially when you have to pay $12 to ship the tire

cheapest I have found online are thetireshoppe.com and edgeracing.com
tire shoppe used to be $110 for an unshaved, but they raised their prices to $120
they are $15 to shave as well.

i havent found any compelling reason to buy shaves over the internet. the local shop is still a better deal

Clift is a great guy and would lend a hand to anyone anytime. If I was buying the tires, I would buy from him. I have purchased from him in the past, and would again. Again, a class act!

Here are all the places I know that sell Toyo tires, and most specialize in track tires like the RA-1. You can check prices on their websites. They're arranged in order by state.

I get mine from Frisby (bolded below), right here in Illinois, about halfway between Chicago and Milwaukee. Great service, great prices, can shave them for you, and Todd really knows his tires. He provides tires at a lot of track events, so he really keeps up with what's working among the racers out there. And, for us local folks, we can drop by there, get them mounted and balanced there, etc.

I've been using http://www.thetireshoppe.com . Their shaves are awesome and they ship very quickly. Prices are on the same plane with everyone else, about 600 bucks for a shaved set of 205/50-15's shipped to my door (they're in PA I believe). They're a SpecMiata.com sponsor.
