95 Honda/Isuzu Passport Transmission Light Blinking
I didn't see an area to post for the Passport so I figured this was close.
I have a 95 Honda Passport ex 3.2 auto that's been pretty reliable other than the frame rust I've repaired.
Anyway I blew a driver front brake line(hard line to master cyl.) Replaced it with no issues but when I dropped it from the jack stands The check transmission light started blinking and truck started idling up around 2000 rpm, it will go down to around 1200rpm if I hit the gas pedal after it warms up but lopes a couple hundred rpm, the truck is in limp mode and needs to be shifted manually and engine seems to be getting really hot. The coolant gauge stays normal no check engine light but did get a code from the TCM, code 23, I searched for a couple hours and couldn't find anything other than how to retrieve the TCM codes. Anyone know what the heck a code 23 is? From what I understand the ECM codes are different than the TCM codes. Tranny fluid is not burnt and at correct level, I did change the thermostat incase it was stuck(it wasn't) and also changed the radiator cap. Ordered a new radiator(its original to truck and missing a couple fins)and tranny filter. But that Code I think is what will tell me what I need to know. Please Help!

Well It was a shot in the dark, Didn't think anyone would know my question since I couldn't find any answers searching the net.
But I will respond saying I stopped down to a shop hoping for some help and sure enough Problem solved. I was reluctant to bother these guys because they have really saved my *** a few times this year and have been more than fair, even taking ammo as barter and me being disabled cash is really tight. If anyone lives anywhere near the Bristol Ct. area and needs a mechanic I recommended DiGovanni's on Park St. in Bristol.
These Guys are down to earth hard working and not out to rip you off like so many other shops I've dealt with.
Thank god I'm back on the road, sharing my wife's car was a nightmare!
