Default Dent in Hood

i have a 96 civic lx, okay some guys sat on my hood, and it left a whole bunch of dents, i started smashing the other side of the hood and part of it came out. But part of it is being blocked by this part

Is there a way to get that big part out? or what should i do? it seems like it would be so easy to take out if that big part wasnt there.

You can not remove that piece. Technically you can cause anything can be removed but that is the innerstructure of your hood. It allows your hood to crumple properly in a front end collision.
If you are hell bent on just tapping it out to make it look better you can drill a hole big enough to fit a screw driver or something in there to help push out the dent. But then your left with a hole on the underside of the hood ofcourse.
Usually what shops do is spot weld a rod onto the front side of the hood to stick a slide hammer onto and pull with that.
What they used to do was drill a 1/8th hole and use a body hood to pull the dent out but that could fail over time especially on a hood.
So there are some options for you. Good luck.

put dry ice on the other side of the hood or..blow dry it for about 30sec and get a air duster in a can and spray it upside down

Take it to a PDR shop. They will drill a small hole in the webbing there and work the dent out from below. Depending on the size of the dent it could be up to $250.

Cheaper to just get another hood if they charge that much.
